We are looking for passionate and dedicated Team Managers who know what good social work practice looks like, and with your skills, experience and knowledge you will oversee all casework undertaken by your team.

 

You will also have excellent analytical and writing skills and the ability to incorporate the Strengthening Families Model in your management role which builds on families’ strengths with a focus on protective factors.

 

With your Deputy Team Manager you will focus on allocating, auditing and monitoring cases as well as supervising and monitoring the progress and professional development of each member of your team. You will be able to demonstrate a key priority of how you eliminate casework drift or delay, ensuring that everyone in the team is meeting the statutory requirements in a timely manner in partnership with children young people and their families.

 

Our Assessment Service Team Managers are central to driving excellent social work practice and making a positive difference to children, young people and their families in Croydon. Reporting directly to the Service Manager you will be responsible for delivering services to children and young people through the operational management and supervision of social work teams.

 

Our offer to you

 

Grade 16 (£50,448 - £52,482)


* In addition to the annual salary there will be a welcome payment of £8,000 (paid at 6 months with a 24 month tie in) and a further £7,000 retention package (£3,500 to be paid at 12 months and £3,500 to be paid at 20 months service)
