To be considered for theses posts, it is essential that you have a proven record of delivering high quality services for vulnerable children and young people. It is also a pre-requisite that you possess experience in a statutory children’s social care setting and have an excellent working knowledge and understanding of legislative framework, relevant research and national developments, and policies relating to children’s social care.

You will have had experience of supervising practitioners, either social work students or other qualified staff and have the skills and experience to supervise.

With a salary up to £47,511 and a welcome and recruitment package of £8,000 (paid within 20 months - for locums and new external candidates). 

We can offer a development & learning programme to support your management and leadership skills which include an Aspiring Leader Programme for children’s social workers, Black & Minority Ethnic Aspiring Managers and systemic supervision training for all managers and senior leaders in addition to a 5 day protected induction programme.
