Grade 5 (£30,495-£31,440) - plus 17% shift allowance and enhancements

We are currently seeking to recruit 2 Careline Response Workers to join our busy team. The purpose of the role is to provide support to service users 24 hours a day 7 days a week.  Our service users are mainly adults with care and support needs who use telecare technology to alert us when they need help or support.

The role of a responder is varied and busy.  There are no two days that are the same, so we are looking for someone who can remain calm, uses initiative and communicates well.  The successful applicants will also need to well as part of a wider team.  Experience providing frontline services to adults with care and support needs is essential and experience in tech enabled care is desirable.

CarelinePlus is a 24-hour, and a responder works 3 12-hour shifts per week on a revolving rota. Shifts include working days, nights, weekends and bank holidays. Day shifts are from 6am-6pm and nights shifts are from 6pm-6am.  An enhanced DBS and a current full clean UK driving licence is essential.  Part of the role includes driving one of our vehicles to enable travel throughout London Borough of Croydon, so it will be necessary for all our responder to pass the council's driving test.
