A secondment/fixed term contract opportunity until end March 26 (Mat leave) 

The appointed candidate will support the Public Health commissioning team to deliver commissioning projects and contracts and contribute to the strategic performance management of the Council’s Public Health function within Adult Social Care directorate. The purpose of this is to ensure continuous improvement and to deliver improved outcomes and savings against contract spend:

·    Sexual Health 

• Integrated sexual health service at Croydon University Hospital
• Getting it on Website
• Primary Care services across both GPs and Community Pharmacies (including Long Term Acting Reversible Contraception, Chlamydia screening, Enhanced Sexual Health)

·    Healthy Behaviours

• NHS Health Checks
• LiveWell Service
• Smoking Cessation

They will support a portfolio of commissioning projects and contracts and the administrative infrastructure of the team in line with the Council’s Commissioning Framework, Audit Recommendations and Contract Management good practice. This involves a broad range of public health, social care, and health services.

About You

We are looking for a confident professional, who is also:

·    Experienced with contract management.

·    Experienced in the commissioning new and innovative services.

·    Experienced in project management and supporting projects in Adult’s social care.

·    Experienced in delivering contract management activity within large complex organisations.

·    Proactive with a can-do attitude

·    Analytical and ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently with close attention to detail.

·    A great team player
