Data Quality Officer (School Census) – Grade 10 (£40,833 - £42,840 pro-rata)

Permanent - Part time 18 hrs per week

We are looking for an experienced and energetic Data Quality Officer (School Census) to join our Business Intelligence & Performance team. Access to data and high-quality analysis is a key requirement of building a positive future for residents and businesses alike, and it is an exciting time to join our team.

This key role is responsible for the collection, validation and analysis of data for statutory school census returns. You will provide high quality, timely analysis, and insight to support service improvement across children’s services, managing and championing evidence-based decision making across a diverse range of Council services. 

Reporting to the Performance and Strategic Intelligence Manager, you will have: 

·       Knowledge and experience of completing the school census returns

·      The ability to extract, interpret and analyse statistical and performance data and use it to support decision-making, performance management and improvement.

·       Excellent problem-solving skills with a proven ability to achieve results
