Are you a qualified Social Worker with a passion for improving lives through early intervention, prevention and strength-based assessments?
Croydon Council, Adults Social Care, is seeking to recruit an experienced social worker to work in the Adults Early Intervention Support Service (AEISS) leading the way in delivering vital first-point-of-contact services to adults in need of support.
Key responsibilities include ensuring timely and efficient responses to referrals and inquiries received. The post holder will ensure that decisions about care eligibility and safeguarding concerns are made in line with the Care Act 2014 and other relevant legislation.
You will complete assessments, ensuring that individuals receive the right care and advice promptly. You will have a customer-focused approach, promoting a strengths-based approach to assessments, focusing on early intervention, prevention, and supporting independence. The role requires that you ensure that individuals, carers, and families receive clear and accessible information and advice. You will work closely with individuals and communities to ensure that services are responsive and inclusive, particularly for vulnerable or hard-to-reach groups.
We are looking for someone who has experience working in adult social care, with in depth knowledge of safeguarding legislation to ensure the safety and protection of vulnerable adults.
