How to apply
You may find the application and recruitment process for the CSW role is different to previous social work roles you have applied for. Please do not let that deter you from applying for the role.
Stage One: Application Form and Video Interview.
To apply for the role you will need to:
1. Submit your CV to LondonandtheEast@thefrontline.org.uk and paul.lawrence@croydon.gov.uk
2. Take part in a video interview.
You can access the video interview here: https://launchpadrecruitsapp.com/apply/6a42ff527de49d9764642d43
The link will take you through a step by step process of how to set up the software well as giving you tips on how to prepare. You will be asked 5 questions and given between 1 and 2 minute to record each answer.
There is also some time to think through and plan your answer. The video interview recording will then be sent to us by Frontline for shortlisting.
You must submit your CV and complete the video assessment by 11.59pm on Tuesday 21st April 2020
Stage 2: The Interview/Assessment Process
Shortlisted candidates are invited to an assessment day where you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your skills in different contexts. We have found traditional interviews alone do
not always give candidates the best opportunity to demonstrate all their skills; but our assessment days have been designed to give you the chance to show us all your strengths in a range of different activities.
The assessment day consists of:
a panel interview
a written activity
a listening activity
a role-play activity
There will a virtual role briefing for potential applicants offered by Frontline on Tuesday 14th April at noon. You can join this briefing by e-mailing LondonandtheEast@thefrontline.org.uk who will send you an invite to access the meeting via Zoom.
Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions the assessment day will be held virtually on Tuesday 28th April. If there are any changes due to the COVID-19 situation we will make candidates aware ASAP.
If you would like further information about the role and application process you can contact Paul Lawrence (paul.lawrence@croydon.gov.uk), Workforce Development Lead, Early Help & Children’s Social Care Academy or Matthew Mattioli (Matthew.Mattioli@thefrontline.org.uk), Frontline Relationship & Development Manager.
