Contract Type: Full Time / 36 hours
We invite you to join the Highway & Traffic Service on this exciting journey as a Highway Planning Liaison officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a series of initiatives that will help support the Croydon Network and construction traffic in and around the Growth Zone which will support good growth of the borough and revitalise, reshape and regenerate one or more of Croydon’s ‘places’.
Highway Planning Liaison officer in conjunction with the Development Manager will negotiate and comment on Construction Logistic plans, contractors’ rates, manage budgets, implement traffic scheme, organize the timing of the works and ensure a permit is raised for any work carried out on the public highway and provide any Control highway comments to proposed new developments within the London Borough of Croydon. Supervise scheme delivery, all too agreed budgets and fee levels. Work with relevant road user groups TfL’s RSM/Surface in developing relevant assessment criteria and lead in agreeing appropriate on behalf of the council.
