Salary: £44,019 - £46,041 (Pro Rata)

25 hours per week

Croydon is running one of biggest organisational transformation programmes in local government – and we’re looking for someone who wants to help change the council for the better.

If you are passionate about company culture, employer branding, staff voice, and developing new digital channels, then this is a great opportunity to join us and help lead the workforce through this change.

This role is perfect for someone looking for a flexible position, who wants to get involved with big projects and deliver creative campaigns to a large organisation (3500+ headcount). From pitching podcasts and working on wellbeing initiatives to running equality campaigns – there’s lots on offer.

We’re looking for a people person who will help share Croydon’s story, celebrate our staff and help facilitate employee engagement in a post pandemic workplace.

Sitting as part of a busy and friendly communications service, we want someone who can help us contribute to company culture through regular, authentic, and engaging internal communications.

Internal communications experience is essential, ideally in a local government or public sector setting.

This role is for 25 hours a week and we are open to discussions on how that is allocated through the working week.

If you care about good internal communications and value the difference it can make in an organisation then we want to hear from you.

Interested? You can find out more and apply here.

If you’d like to chat over this role, please feel free to email me to set up a call on internal.communications@croydon.gov.uk
