Learning Support Assistants (working with adult learners)
2 part-time posts of 6 hours per week, with additional hours available – term time only
NJC Grade 3 - (pro rata for part-time hours - £28,521 to £29,346 per annum for 36 hours per week. Hourly rate: £15.19 to £15.63).
CALAT, the leading provider of adult education in Croydon, requires Learning Support Assistants to provide learning support to adult learners with mental health difficulties, physical disabilities, learning difficulties, sensory impairments and other disabilities.
Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant with experience of working one-to-one with learners with disabilities in a classroom environment?
This post is to provide learning support to learners to achieve their learning and qualifications, across the CALAT sites, you must be flexible in the hours and days available including evenings and Saturdays.
It would be desirable if you have experience of supporting learners in an educational context and you have a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and/or Numeracy (equivalent to GCSE Grade C or above in English and or Maths).
