About the Role
Salary - Grade 8 - £31,548 to £33,291
Hours - 36 Full time
Emergency Accommodation Team – Emergency Housing Interventions Officer x 2 – permanent roles

This is an opportunity for enthusiastic people who share our commitment to join us and make a tangible difference to the lives of homeless people whilst ensuring council resources are used fairly and appropriately.
As a vital part of our homelessness service you will carry out thorough, sensitive information gathering, offer comprehensive advice and provide the best possible housing options and solutions.
You should have an understanding of the housing rental market and a willingness to persuade households to look for their own accommodation in the private sector with your assistance. You should be able to make complex decisions linking housing, budgeting, work, health, education and opportunity, as well as encourage behaviour change.
